More Sara Strimpel!

Remember the beautiful Sara Strimpel? I finally went through to do my second round of edits. I'll probably have a third round when I'm in a different sort of mood. Different moods means different pictures. I love seeing how I take the same group of photos in a completely different direction depending on my mood. I'm very excited about the last few photos. Also, I had a desire for sepia today. I'm sure you can't tell...haha
sultry

Simply a gorgeous girl

She looks so content, I love it

These two are very similar, but one is more focused on her body and the other on her face, I love them both so I'm putting them both up.

And these last two I went for a different approach, focusing more on the human shape than the portraiture I usually focus on.

My favorite is probably the second to last photo. I wish the tree wasn't so close to her body, but even that is growing on me.

Almost Nude

I attempted nudes awhile back with one of my friends. Neither of us really knew what to do buuut looking back at it 7 months later I found some shots I really like. It was just new to me and to the model - we were both kind of awkward. So basically, real nudes were too much, but these photos are classy and hot and moving and just great (not to be cocky or anything). I feel good about these pictures and I feel good about where my photography is headed. It sure isn't perfect, I have lots of things to improve on, but I feel good about it. I love looking at how far I've come with photography and even editing the photos I take, finally knowing how to portray the mood I wanted all along - or one I didn't know I wanted in the first place. AH. It just feels so good. Anyways, here are the photos.

I know you can see her underwear a little bit in this picture, I just don't have photoshop right now to fix it.

Underwear edited out here from when I had access to photoshop

This last photo is my absolute favorite and will very likely make it into my portfolio.

Indiana

I went on vacation to Indiana! What's in Indiana? A beautiful lake and a cottage my boyfriend's family visits every summer and I got to go for a week. I didn't take a lot of pictures, but I took some. You may see a few more in another post. I just got back home maybe an hour ago and I'm finally getting tired. So here's what's up.

Sara Strimpel

There are a LOT of photos in this post. I couldn't help it. Sara Strimpel is beautiful!

Photographers can be comfortable in front of the camera, but hardly ever modeling. It's just weird. You look at yourself in some photo that's "trendy" and say, "Wait that can't be me, I look way too cool." OR "wow, I look really dumb and now it's captured on film." So fun.

I don't know what to do with these ones yet. They just look great on their own..I just would like to dull down the grass.

Today, Sara Strimpel and I took up the task of coming out from behind the camera and modeling. I got green dots on my face and Sara got all dolled up in a lovely red dress. I drove around Erie trying to find cool spots. . . I don't really know any to be honest. But we found some rail road tracks and made use of a park in front of some scene kids, that was awkward. Anyway, these photos came out amazingly! I've been editing for a total of maybe 40 minutes and am really pleased with what I have in my shots. These last few might be my favorite. I'll have to go through the photos again when I'm fresh, but I'm real pleased with this. Sara is a good model :)
